There are 3 eBPF bridge options - need a simple packet forwarder Shivank tried to create his own bridge - was able to build successfully https://github.com/xdp-project/xdp-tutorial/tree/master/packet03-redirecting works. Next step is to test the interfaces (with iperf, see if it works). we will finish the basics first. Using Pod 18 now. Next phase is using k8s pod for loopback and Cillium CNI on Node 4 (this is a 6 month Internship). ACTION Al Morton invite Maryam for (or later) meeting to discuss performance. | ||||||||
