OPNFV Jerma Release
- David presents the schedule: Jerma Release Schedule
Jira Legacy server System Jira jqlQuery filter=13104 serverId 1afe526e-48e5-33b1-8ed7-4f559eac1ef8 - Mark Beierl and Sridhar Rao will update pod 18 to 18.04 in order to install MicroStack
- David notes that RC0 is a no go
- Al Morton proposes to slip RC0 by one week
- No objections, TSC agrees to move RC0 to
- Requirements manifest discussion has been proposed for Tech Discuss on
MELD Topics
- Defer tool chain and Release naming to new interim TSC
- https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1zYX48vNG42QrQzD6_7JX8qQzxNhah9QnTS1fQWJTaXc/edit?usp=sharing
- Brief discussion of artifacts
- Cédric Ollivier and Mark Beierl discussed RC and RI, where RC verifies itself against its own harness and can then be used to verify the RI.
- Mark Beierl suggests there should only be one RC per RA and no conditional clauses. For example if Flannel and Calico are not interchangeable, this should be pushed back to the RA and have 2 RAs, otherwise a CNF cannot be run on both without modification
- Al Morton calls for objections to the election calendar
- No objections, TSC agrees
- Frank Brockners asks if the cutover is immediate?
- Al Morton states yes, there will just be one TSC immediately after the election
- Frank Brockners asks what happens to Jerma if it slips to the next year when new TSC is in place
- Al Morton confirms it will under the governance of the new TSC in that case
GitLab Update
- Run jobs only on schedule: https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/ci/pipelines/schedules.html#using-only-and-except
