1. First version of Vineperf with Prox integration is complete - Baremetal tests (Traficgen is deployed and running on a particular node).
2. Vineperf container is ready - run in kubernetes. Testing is done. Only catch - we should check the kube-proxy configuration (configmap). In kube-proxy config, under nodeportaddresses - ensure it is null ([]) or NOT 'localhost-only' (127.0.0.1/8). If it is localhost-only, for the nodeport, it will be listening only on 127.0.0.1 (netstat output will be 127.0.0.1:32323), where is if it null, for the nodeport, it will be listening on all interfaces (netstat output will be 0.0.0.0:32323). 32323 is mapped to port 22 of vineperf pod.

Q: Can calico be the secondary CNI under multus.

A. Parth: No. As calico assumes 'eth0' - it mandates to be a primary interface.

Q: Can we use with Multus - calico and calico? ( 2 interfaces, both using calico)

A: Open.

Q: DanM and Multus are mutually exclusive?

A: YES.

First activity: Running what's there with Functest already. functest-kubernetes-benchmarking, network, iperf/netperf - This work https://github.com/kubernetes/perf-tests/tree/master/network/benchmarks/netperf is included in functest.

Trevor: Plan the target outcomes - Testcases, Topologies, CNIs, limitations (kernel n/w stack).
