Fellow Open Source Enthusiasts,

The Open Source Focus Group (OSFG) of the O-RAN Alliance would like to initiate an initial exchange on work programs for alignment and identification of potential areas of collaboration to initiate the avoidance of duplication. To facilitate this we are proposing a half-day workshop on May 23, 2025 in Kista Sweden. We know that this event is just a few weeks away, but would like this preliminary exchange in order to create an alignment of vision for O-RAN related software paving the way for a more technical planning session later in the year. The ask is to bring forth aspects of your programs which have been identified as O-RAN supportive. This include vision, architecture, roadmaps, or demos. We are also extending this to communities which are outside the purview of O-RAN but adjacent to the RAN, where integration to the Network, Cloud, or Management systems would be mutually beneficial.
