- “Stable” – currently available container with latest stable release branch (5.8).
- “Master” – new container, based on latest collectd master branch.
- “Experimental” – new container, with selected patches, that are not accepted/merged yet on Collectd Master
Details:
Master Container:
- A new container based on Collectd Master
- Will provide the plugins that are available on Master but not yet part of latest stable release of Collectd
- Will incorporate all the bug fixes and features additions that are available on Master
- Updates from master taken in on bi-weekly cadence
Experimental Container:
- A brand new container featuring Cherrypicked Collectd pull requests that have not been upstreamed yet on Collectd
- Based on Collectd Master
- Does not provide Functest support
- Treated as unstable with any deployment issues may only be addressed over community discussions
