OPNFV 2.0 Actions

Review OPNFV's overall process to respond to CNTT Requirements

  • Jim shared the diagram that was shared in the TAC and that it is discussed at that level

  • The opinion is that CNTT is operating beyond its mandate (working on implementation instead of specification)

  • Some thought that the process is working OK as it is.

TSC Review of Staffing Proposal to CNTT plus Field Trial Testing Plan and Staffing

  • Field trial still planned but don't have enough volunteers yet

Reference Infrastructure and Reference Conformance work

  • Need alignment on where IP work gets done.  CNTT's licensing in not currently appropriate for the RI/RC work that is being published in GitHub.

CIRV Mandate Review

  • we had a lengthy discussion in weekly technical discuss meeting and will continue next week - meeting minutes have been published.

  • Fu Qiao shared some history/background to CIRV and the shared meeting time with RI/RC

  • Need further discussion to focus and align CIRV's role with current plans to support CNTT requirements with automated testing

OPNFV Project Reviews (Dovetail)

  • there is only a few active committers, last supporting release is Hunter, plans to support Iruya(?)
